Get to know your customers. You want to learn as much as possible about your customers. Learn their purchasing behavior and how often they buy. Do they buy only during sales or promotions or do they frequently shop regardless of sales and promotions? These are some of the questions you should ask to help advance your market and products to your customers. Also, try to get to know your customer’s lifestyles, needs, mindsets, and attitudes that may help make their life easier. Knowing and working with these personality traits are also key to marketing success.
But remember don’t overdo it and don’t get so personal that you make your customers uncomfortable. Always be professional and keep it related to your business and what you can do for them.
